We woke up at 530 am to leave on the bus by 7am. The bus ride was alright but cramped. We stopped in Maryland to use the bathroom and rest for a bit. It was really cool seeing all the different kinds of bridges, toll crossing (which there was a lot of them) and driving through each state. It seemed like we would drive 50 miles and then another toll crossing would come up every 50 to 100 miles. The bus was drived by "Diane" she was an awesome lady we finally arrived in Washington D.C. She dropped us off at "The Mall" in D.C. Our first stop for my mom and I was the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Here are some pictures from the museum.
Even walking in the shade it was hot as we walked on a path to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The last time I was there was when I was 10 years old.
Finally our last stop before driving to our next hotel was "The Washington Nationals" who were playing San Diego Padres.
This is the end of our second day of the trip.
